Qi beauty™ Gold Magnet Facial Therapy

The Synergistic Qi Facial is a gentle, non-invasive skin treatment system that boosts energy to cells for optimal skin performance, recovery and a healthier appearance.

During a gold magnet facial treatment, the skin is stimulated with gauss specific Qi dermal stimulators – 24k gold magnets that are placed in a customized matrix pattern on the face. Key facial acupuncture points are stimulated by the gold magnets as well (instead of with acupuncture needles). Skin is further nourished by organic Qi beauty™ products.

Subdermal fluids (beneath the surface of skin) are directed by the power of the magnet matrix, leaving the skin looking fuller, deeply hydrated and more vital.

Your treatment includes:

An assessment of your skin and a customized treatment
Manual lymphatic drainage massage to the neck and face
A light exfoliation of skin using gentle, organic products

Registered Acupuncturist with a special focus on Women’s Wellness as well as non-invasive Facial Health and Beauty treatments. I’ve trained with some of the best Cosmetic Acupuncture teachers from North America and Asia.

I’m one of only a few certified Qi Beauty™ practitioners in Ontario, and a certified aromatherapist for many years. I’ve studied advanced Facial Gua sha and Cupping, as well as the Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage techniques for face and neck.

How does Qi beauty™ work?

A treatment pattern is designed for the face, targeting areas of concern (such as dryness, lines, blemishes, inflammation, etc). Specific magnetic gradients created by this pattern will facilitate the movement of intrinsic compounds under the skin’s surface. This in turn works to help define facial features, reduce appearance of heavy jowls, reduce facial sag and the loss of skin volume.

Are results noticeable right away with the gold magnet facial?

Subtle results are noticeable after one treatment, but become long lasting after 5 or more weekly sessions. Results may vary from one person to another and will depend on individual skin goals and other factors (such as lifestyle and health, smoking, water intake, sleep habits, etc).

Why are the magnets gold plated?

Qi beauty™ gauss specific micro-stimulators are plated in 24karat gold and designed specifically for achieving skin lift and volume. Gold particle alchemy chemically assists with healthy skin pH, and is known to brighten the skin. After just one use, the gold-plated stimulators are noticeably tarnished, as the power of the gold has been spent on the skin.

How long do results last after a treatment?

Results become longer lasting after a series of 5 or more treatments, and may last 6-12 months or longer. The length of time will depend on many factors, including age, skin condition and desired outcome. For optimum results, we suggest use of the Qi beauty™ Home Kit in between professional visits. The kits can also be used as a maintenance method after an initial series.

What is the recovery time after a Qi beauty™ facial?

Here’s the beautiful part – there is no downtime or recovery time after a Qi beauty™ treatment! There is no bruising or swelling. These treatments can be delivered to the skin up to 2 x per week if you are planning for a special event. As an alternative to facial acupuncture, this needle-free treatment can be applied the day before – or even the day of a big event.

Are the gold plated magnets reused?

No, they are only used one time. Once the power of the micro-stimulators has been spent they are of no further use for aesthetic treatments. They can be manually ground down and returned to the earth (in your garden or elsewhere).

Can the Qi beauty™ Home Kit be used on its own?

The kit is designed to be used in between professional treatments. If you cannot come in to the office – or if there is no certified practitioner in your area – the kit can be used as part of your regular self care routine. With each purchase AcuNiagara offers a free 20 minute consult to go over the use of the kit. We will make suggestions for placement of product and suggest a self care plan.

Who should avoid the gold magnet facial?

Although this treatment can safely benefit persons of any age, there are instances where we must take precautions. Please inform your practitioner if any of the following apply: if you have any areas that have recently been treated by Botox or dermal filler. It is contra-indicated if: you are pregnant; if you are allergic to gold; if you have a pacemaker; if you have implanted medical device or insulin pump.
